A rare 1969 Ford Capri has come onto the market and is expected to sell for a healthy five-figures.

The early 1300L model is in pristine condition and is believed to be one of only 14 such models left.
One of the attractions of the Capri when it was launched was the choice of engines and spec. The entry-level model was the Capri 1300 costing under £900 in 1969. For a few pounds more you could add some modest trim with the ‘L’ version.
The 1.3 litre engine was the smallest engine available.
The Ermine White example, now for sale with Danny Ford Parts, was previously advertised in 2024 with restoration specialists, JD Classics.
It’s current owner claims to have spent £50,000 on restoring the car using original Ford parts and fitted new body panels, flooring, wheel trims and arches.
It comes with the ‘luxury’ extra for its time – a push button radio.

There is no doubt the Capri is an appreciating classic having clocked-up an impressive 1.9 million sales between 1969 and 1986 and this fine example is sure to attract plenty of interest.
The car is being advertised on various classic car sites and facebook – click
