Father’s Day car shows.
Father’s Day (15 June) is one of the busiest times for classic car events and this year we have several Yorkshire shows to look forward to.
Over 500 vintage and classic cars and motorcycles will line up at the Castle Howard estate, near York. Not far away, the North of England Classic and Pre-war Automobiles (York branch) will gather at Murton Park. A range of cars from the early 1920s to 1990s will grace the 14 acre site which is also home to the Yorkshire Museum of Farming.
Yorkshire Air Museum is also displaying lots of classic cars and bikes in front of their special collection of Cold War jets.
In South Yorkshire, Brodsworth Hall is hosting a weekend of classic car fun (14-15 June) which will also includes remote control car racing and live music.
