Once again the team behind Yorkshire Elegance have curated an outstanding collection of vehicles from some of the earliest cars to modern, but future classics. If your taste in cars is high end then this is the probably the finest collection of vehicles in the North of England. Without a doubt this event is comparable with the London Concours and other similar events.
Whilst there was a brief spell of light rain, overall the weather was warm and typical of a British summer. The venue was perfect for a prestige event with cars covering the lawns and blessed with some improvements on last year including new pathways and a small stage area.
I appreciate that this show is not for everyone. If you are only interested in everyday classics then this is not the show for you. But if you appreciate incredible engineering, innovation and tales of racing adventures then this is a must do event.

I subscribed to receive notifications about events like this because I enjoy viewing classic cars and wanted to stay informed in advance. However, I was surprised to receive information about the event only after it had already taken place.
Could you kindly clarify why this was the case? I would appreciate understanding how the notification system works, as it seems counterintuitive to be informed after the fact.

Hi, thanks for your question. I am not sure when you subscribed but you may have missed the two articles about YE as an upcoming event. These were on 22/02/2025 and 07/06/2025. We don’t email about every event as there are too many. However our web site lists all the events we are informed of. Go to classic Yorkshire.co.uk and then to the events and destinations page.
